just play FAST without getting checkmated in a few moves and dont lose too much material. But if the opponent moves slow you can give up some material (most likely pawns) to make them take the threat wasting more time.

for white recommended something that you can play easily like the london or 1 g3, for black play g6 schemes llike pirc or king's indian since it is easy for opp to mess up

When I hung two rooks and my queen in a blitz game against a 700 but it was unrated so thankfully I didn't lose 16 points lol

when I lost a game on forfeit in a tourney (I was up 2 pawns and a completely winning position[+10 for me])that would have given me first place and a few hundred bucks but then I couldn't control my mouth and started looking at another game
