I played in a tournament at the Paul Mason winery in 1980, He was listed on the tournament board as an IM. George Koltonowski was the TD.Not like him to make that kind of mistake.??

I don't have anything about 1980 (yet), but here's a photo pf the Paul Masson Mountain Vineyards chess tournament from 1977.  Maybe it'll spark some nice memories anyway:
