A devistating disconnection

I got disconnected from the live game area during this game and I just wanted to ask for people's opinions.

Do you give the bishop sacrifice a (!!) or a (!?)

Also if you were to sit down at the board from the ending position who would you want to be?  The black pieces or the white?

I think 16. Bxh6 Rfd8 17. Bxg7 was correct, but after 17. ...Kxg7, 18. Qg5 was stronger.

18. ...Kf8 Qh6 19. ...Kg8 Rh3 loses for Black

18. ...Kh7 19. h6 Bf8 (19. ...Ne8 20. Qxe7 isn't much better) and Black cannot defend everything; Rxd6 is an eventual possibility, as is Be2-h5-g6

Me too.  Although is was just a 10 min game, so there is no way of knowing if I would have found the correct line to play.

17. Bxg7 ! but u should have proceeded with ur queen to g5 , or the sacrifice will diminish

immortalgamer

I'll have to repectfully disagree with your idea of queen to g5.  I believe this actually diminishes the attack!!

Qg5 Kh7! activating the black rook and leaving the queen all by herself.  I'm sure there are other moves to make but the knight move was to bring another piece into the fight and a positional move to lock the board.

I believe Qg5 is a ?

now i noticed that white king is exposed in the c1-h6 diagonal , ok we have to try h6 first , if Kh7 then g2-g4-g5 , u have to exploit what the bishop opened , and beware of Bg5..........i have to analyze the situation more but those are the first impressions , or else the sacrifice will gone

The sac didnt help you and the attack wasnt established enough. Only 1 point loss though so a !

I think the sac totally helped.  If you look at the final position in the game before I was disconnected my opponent played c5 attacking my knight.  Possible continuation...

20...Nd5 (attacking queen and bishop.)

21. Qa7 (forced), Ne6+ (!)

22. Bxe6, fxe6

23. b5 (looks good), Qc3

24. Bf6, Nxf6 (and the game looks over for Black!)

25. fxe6, Bxb5
