How many videos have I watched that promise, "With this trap, you will be completely winning in 6 moves. You will beat all your friends." Quite a few such videos!
My experience has been that they don't work as advertised, especially if you are a lower level player.
But today I had an opportunity to play the "Dark Knight Gambit" that I learned from Gotham, and it worked to perfection and I won the game easily....not because I was a better player, but because I knew a "trick".
He played Nxf7 and I countered with Qh4.
