A lot of people are getting mad because "I play too slow" for their taste

I have had the message pop up in games, your opponent would like to chat. When I hit it to see what they want, it starts an emoji bombardment. Bomb with a fuse lit, mocking faces, applause hands for their move, etc. You can't stop it once you accept it, it becomes an emoji cartoon. I stopped hitting the accept chat button during rated games.

Yeah, if your opponent agreed to playing that time control then you did nothing wrong, and it's their fault. I've had people say similar things to me in 30 minute games, like "I don't have all day" or something stupid like that. I generally just ignore and keep playing as slow as I usually do.

See my avatar.  Which expresses my opinion about most folks who dislike some facet of, in this case, my chess.

I am slow myself and made it a habit to utilize almost all of my time by the 30th move and play the rest on increment in 15/10.

Taking my time allows me to CCT and blunder check.

I played my first game, choose 30 minutes format, and my opponent was sending me messages about being slow. I told him it's my first game, he laughed at me, and then offered a draw with a note like "get faster"...
How do I get better and faster if people are not going to play me because I take my time to think. It was quite discouraging for a beginner...
