A Newbie drew Stockfish at highest level (2 draws so far)

So this lying sack of crap would not be 1300 if he could think 25 moves deep.

He puts the onus on others to prove he is wrong, as he refuses to prove he is telling the truth.  That's been the MO of skumbags and con men for hundreds of years.

This is a waste of time.   When that journalist verifys that this guy is the greatest player ever I'm sure I will hear about it.  Until then I'm out.

I think that conventional,  orthodox human chess cannot beat stockfish.   You would have to approach chess differently than just the extrapolation of patterns and conventional wisdom and that requires a far greater eminence than (the already difficult) game normally does already.

That said,  I do believe people can surpass engines,   even with how quickly they are improving.    I just don't think everyone can do it,  just some of the brightest and most specialized / inclined.

Those thoughts are very interesting.  But I desagree, because engines were programmed by humans, so they think like humans, they can't do anything different or superior.

That's a non-sequitur and contradicts previous statements of yours.

I've heard from a friend that Leela is winning vs stockfish. And I also heard that for Leela to get its hightest strength it must be run on special hardware designed for it. Is it true?

I hope stockfish wins, because otherwise I have to download Leela and I don't have that special hardware.

Having GPU's is not special hardware...

You were dead lost at move 18. You just didn't know it.

true, because you exposed your king. happens all the time with Bg4 or Bg5. players move their queen out to unpin their knight, but Bxf6 or Bxf3 exposes the king or loses a piece.

Wrong. Google AlphaZero. Read the book. Watch the videos. Kingscrusher, Anna Rudolf, and Danny King have all created very good videos on games played by a chess program that learned strategy through self-play.

Interestingly, you are claiming to be engaged in a similar process, except that AlphaZero can run more simulations in ten seconds than you can run in two hundred years. That's why your lie is transparent.

I can see 35 moves ahead in 5 minutes, actually. From the opening to the checkmate in the Endgame. I can prove it to you, and I already proved it to physical friends around here. And that's not what makes a chess player being good. Any 1100 rated player can do that if he's trained.

What makes a good chess player good is the quality of what he visualized, and for that quality visualization I need hours and days. 10 of those moves actually happened in the drawn match vs stockfish11. But usually only 3 or 4 moves happen according from my visualizations.

People not believing what I did just inflates my ego. Because I know it's true.

I would like to see someone else to do it just to reduce my ego. If I can do it anyone can do it, why not?

But I don't see anyone with the will and patience to do it, that's the reason I'm the only one so far.

We all can beat the machines.

Just try it. You don't need to be GM or even smart. You just need the will to do it.

Has it ever occurred to you that other people reading your claims might know a good deal about chess, memory, visualization, and calculation? That they came to this knowledge not only from practical play, but also from decades of teaching, and reading mountains of scholarship?

I think that if you believe your own claims, you would struggle in Math 101 at a community college, and would absolutely fail psychology.

THIS!

If you can beat or even give Stockfish a run for its money, you should be able to quickly reach grandmaster status and soon after be selected as one of the 8 to compete to be the next challenger for the World Championship.  Don't try to tell us you can do what even Kasparov couldn't do at his peak against a chess engine much weaker than Stockfish!

When I coached a very successful high school chess club than won the county championship in our state's most competitive chess county 3 straight years and won team trophies in the State Championships each of those years, one of the top players and I would sometimes cross paths in the hallway between classes and shout moves to each other, playing perhaps 15 moves in our heads before our paths split.

NONE of us could see far enough ahead with accurate moves to beat Stockfish at anywhere near its highest level.  ALL of us could tell you more about calculation, planning, visualization than you seem to know.

Amazing someone can create a lie like this, and get this much attention.

They aren't necessarily lying,   lots of people have tried stuff like this.  have you heard about max deutsch

Youre talking 2 different things here.

Max Deutch was doing some amazing things, that he proved he could do.

The OP?  All he is doing is what has been done on every chess site.  "Claiming" to be able to beat the strongest chess engine around.  Its a tired act, that has been done before.

New dirtbag member nambladaddy just joined and already has drmrboss as first friend.  Hopefully you recognize the disgusting reference in that user name.

Drmrboss is a virus in these forums and if you had any doubt that this thread was anything other than trolling bu11sh1t you need to start using your brain.

A $h1tty player who plays like stock fish and drmrboss chearing him on like it's legit.

Drmrboss is like a steaming pile of $h1t that all the flys swarm around.

Don't feed the trolls.  And do your part in reporting the scum and maybe together we can make this a better forum.

Hmm, I haven't really paid attention to this thread, but maybe I should read it from the beginning. It might be entertaining, in a train-wreck sort of way, haha.
