A Newbie drew Stockfish at highest level (2 draws so far)

24 value is the default setting for winning the strongest chess engines in the world. I don't think is too low.

If I set it to a higher value people will say: "Oh, you won because contempt was too high and because of that stockfish played too weak."

If programmers thought 24 is the best balance, it should be the best balance. They designed it to win not to draw or to lose.

Well, I will read more forums about this, and I will think more about it. I also would like to see more action in the games.

I analyzed the game with chess.com analysis!!! happy.png

I made a weak free premium account in order to be able to analyze it at full depth (26). Here is the result:

But it says only 3 book moves?

I use to get out of theoretical oppening moves pretty fast, because I don't use oppening memorization.

I want to post the rest of the analysis results, but chess.com rules don't let me post more than 5 posts per day. So, I'll post them tomorrow.

5.c3 is not a mistake according to analysis. And it moved c3, I can't change the past.

Another thing is that the elo performance at the oppening for stockfish is 3500 elo. If something went wrong it wasn't in the oppening.

the fact you think the brain is more than just neurons firing is what undermines your whole argument. you are saying intuition is calculation millions of moves a second, it is not. intuition is recognizing similar situations and playing similar moves. there is no such thing as a "spirit" at least in the mentioning of the human brain. Sure, scientists do not know everything about the human brain, but that is partially because they cannot experiment on a live brain without crossing serious moral boundaries. no, the top humans cannot beat the top computers, it is not that they have some mental block. This is a ridiculous topic and it is clear you are looking for attention and are rather immature.

Keep working, OP.

Leela learn from scratch. She doesnt know anything about chess except basic rules. After 70 millions training games, she is now beating Stockfish everywhere!! TCEC, CCCC.

Just found this thread.  This dude has a 1300 rapid rating and 1500 daily. Pretty much my own ratings and I will confirm that I suck!

He is bragging about draws with stock fish and playing at 3200 level.  If this was all true, why can't he play a decent game of chess against a human? Am I missing something?
