In my opinion in general position (N=Knight , B=Bishop , R=Rook , Q=queen)

2B+N ≥ 2R ≥ 2N+B ≥ Q

It depends on the position, but generally the more pieces the better.
3 minor pieces can attack a pawn 3 times, 2 rooks can attack or defend a pawn twice, a queen can attack or defend a pawn once.

...a classic offensive fortess for white. black hasta be VERY careful here.

if I Ever ancounter this i would most likely give a check and try and get rid of the knight and then go for rook then bishop or get checkmated

Just wanted to ask.... King vs king , bishop , knight is draw right?

Avatar of laveenamradula

honestly going for bishops is kinda good remembers when I lost a queen bye a sniper bishop

Avatar of Lucaschessx2

in this case i think black win, but if they play correctly

white NEVER hasta move a piece to make a draw. just shuttle their king around as white has made a backwards mexican standoff. all (3) a white's pieces are protecting one another...yee !! and e/t black moves ?...they risk a skewer, a fork , a bbq...s/t like that.

With only KQ, KRR, KBBN or KNNB it is generally a draw.
With more pawns on the board KBBN>KNNB>KRR>KQ as more pieces can attack a pawn more time than less pieces can defend it.

2 Rooks are probably stronger than a Queen most of the times, but it actually ended as a draw against the Maximum bot in a rare case. Also, if you blunder a Rook, Queen is stronger, and sometimes a mere Knight can be stronger than a Queen sometimes.

Don't you call the knight mere!! but I agree =)

Hello !!

Hey what do you think is the best between these three (A QUEEN, 2 ROOKS or 3 MINOR PIECES)?

And also tell what's your favourite in these three !!

Bye - bye !!

Based on the initial position, analysis by Stockfish 14 NNUE.

Queen is better than 2 rooks.

3 minors is better than Queen.

So. 3 minors >>Queen >> Rooks.
