If you were granted a chess wish between:
1/ Winning every game with white from now on - no matter how strong the opponent - and drawing every game with black no matter how weak the opponent...
or
2/ Given a baseline performance of say 2400 ELO with a reasonable expectation of increasing in strength year by year at a regular rate...
Which would you choose?
Out of the two options, which would more likely set you on the path to world champion? if both set you on this path then which option would take you there the quickest?

The idea for this question came from juggling the study load between white and black openings. To what extent is there a law of diminishing returns involved in playing for a win with black when a strong opponent plays a drawish game. Should one think in terms of many games and concentrate on converting the serve - playing white - or take a leaf out of Fischer's book and relentlessly look for possible ideas as black for playing a white player who is happy with playing the Reverse Hippo or Exchange French?
After many decades I'm starting to think that drawing with black should be accepted as a good result...
