A Youtube channel old chess games

Dear all,

I have tried to create a youtube channel for old chess games of the likes of Morphy, Lasker, etc. There will be some new games as well, but a lot of the old chess beauties will also feature.

If you could listen to an Indian accent, then do check out the channel here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPqkQ8nRqq7WuBvdr_OVgbA

Its a new channel and just a few videos are up, but the target is to try and upload atleast one video everyday.

I know shameless promotion is not what you people want, and I do apologise, but hey, one has got to get the word out somewhere.

The idea is to keep the vids crisp and short so that everyone could easily watch some old masterpieces of old chess players.

This channel is two fulfill two aims. The first is that to improve chess I was going to study chess games anyway. However you don't fully understand something till you could explain it to others. So I get to study the chess games of legends and share them with you so you also could see some great games in a short vid that you would not usually have seen.

Your feedback will be appreciated.

Dear all seeing that this thread drew a grand total of 0 responses, I feel obligated to bump this thread, as I have put in a lot of effort into making the videos and I do request that some of you atleast look at the vids once before discarding it.

Feedback welcome and appreciated.

Nice work, Jayesh.  I've tried my hand at some chess videos myself, and I know the hardwork that goes into these videos.  Going over classic games is an excellent idea, and there are always new players who need a good introduction to these games for the first time.  A new video every day will be tough, but it's not impossible.

Rotlewi-Rubinstein is probably my favourite game, and you did an admirable job explaining it.  Good luck with your channel.

@robbie_1969 Cheers!

@Cyberwarior - Obviously I want to share the videos I do with chess fans, but I am not really competing with anyone else. I just do these videos they help me better understand chess and study some great chess games, and then the pleasure of sharing what I learned with others.

Also I have just done the latest video.- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGqv-vcCG0o

It is a game played in 1834 and is the first true immortal game in chess.

Guys just to update, I was not particularly satisfied with the earlier video on the La Bourdannais vs McDonnell game, and so I have redone the video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ltGKRibtLM

I hope you guys enjoy this vid on the 1st true immortal chess game in chess.
