I see many people just abandoning the game when they are stuck with an unpleasant state or after blundering. This is utterly disrespectful and deserves more point loss compared to respectfully resigning. It is like a chess player leaving a real chess table without a small gesture or handshake, just ignoring that the opponent is still sitting there and waiting for his/her next move.

Yeah, i agree, its so annoying. I do feel for some people abandoning cuz i once had to go for like 5 min with 7min on the clock. Still got the W and didnt time-out thank god. But if you do timeout id say you should lose double points

Or well, First time doing it should just be 0 punishment. 2nd time (in a month) it results in double point loss
