If you contact the Support team via https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new, they can investigate and if it has been closed accidentally, they will be able to re-open the account and your friends list will still be intact.

My previou sacccount was unneccessarily closed and i lost all my friends. That was really bad on the part of admin :(
