Account closing

Hi. Does anyone know what happen when your opponents account gets closed during an online Chess game? Will you be credited with a win, or will all your work just be a waste of time?

You win as long as you have made your move.

Some body use engine such as stokfish. Komodo and other so there I. D close by chess.com.after who is cheating his account will be close.

Things progress like their account is still active, only they never make another move. If it's your turn and time runs out, or if you resign, you still lose, but if it's their turn time will eventually run out. Unfortunately, if they had a paid account with vacation time, it'll still automatically engage when time runs low.
