Accused of cheating

Hi!

I recently picked up chess about 18 months ago and played seriously during like 6 months. I topped out on 1700 rating on rapid which was my preferred mode. Not to long and not to short. I then gave up on studying openings and lines even more since it seemed as a very daunting task. I now play blitz just for fun while I'm commuting from work or school. My blitz rating is 1200. After a very wild game towards the end my opponent accused me of using a cheat bot. He then proceeded to say that there was no point in denying it since he saw me start it up. One thing I've noticed playing in the 1100 - 1400 tier is that they are very inconsistent in their skill level. Sometimes they are shit and other times they completely outplay you. Cheat bots?
