The WW3 game has been around since 2018. It has nothing to do with the Ukraine. That's in your head. I realize, if your flag is valid, you may live close to what may be a war at some point. That's not the site's fault nor the video game. That's just your perception.
Would you mind if I created a group for people without empathy and no will to change our society for the better? One for the selfish? One for … ah, you don't care anyhow. You'll find explanations and excuses for everything — as long as you have fun.
Promoting war sucks. A company like chess.com should not be in the position — regarding theier values — to do this.

The site uses a third-party ad provider. While the site can choose ad categories it does not approve ads that gets shown. The site can remove ones that are bad though.
While I applaud your conviction and standing up for what you think is right (whether others agree or not) I think you may have chosen the wrong way to show it. I woke up to a long message from you in my inbox. Did you send one of these to everyone? I found that annoying. Also, if you stop doing something because one thing annoys or offends you, pretty soon you're going to be sitting home alone in the dark with nothing to do.

I don't have any memberships in this site, and I don't remember any ads until recently. It's worse than You Tube. Soon there'll be an ad over the board between each move? Lose the ads. It's distracting.

The ads have always been there for basic members unless the browser was blocking them.

No regarding "to everyone".
I am talking about chess.com promoting something that is called World War 3 — while there is war for years already in Ukraine and it seems to get worse just now. People are killed, many suffer and it will get worse.
And you are annoyed about a "long message" …
If Des Moines, Iowa was under attack, if foreign troops would invade, if children would die — what would you feel if someone would blame you for sending out a "long message" — instead of understanding the problem?
