Advice for 1170
Play, and have fun!
Do tons of rated puzzles. Tactics and limiting blunders alone will get you to 1400 very quickly like I did. In my case, I still sac minor pieces against 1900 players for winning chances, so take that advice with a large grain of salt.
Analyze your games from a human perspective; make friends with strong chess players and they will help you out.
Good luck and enjoy.
What you're doing now is good and you'll improve. Reading books is also very useful.
IMO the 3 main activities are study (e.g. books), play (ideally a time control like 30+0), and drills (mainly tactics).
IMO the 4 areas of study are openings, endgames, tactics, and strategy.
The old wisdom is that the lower the rating, the more time you should devote to playing. The most important skill you should be building as you play is good calculation habits. Do your best not to give away anything for free (not even a single pawn). Do your best to win material when your opponent allows it. When you lose something for no good reason, review the game. It's a very serious mistake (even losing a single pawn) so you need to revisit the position and understand what went wrong. Were you distracted by a threat you were trying to make? Did you see 1 of your opponent's threats and miss the other threat? Do you usually miss pieces far away (like a bishop in a far away corner)? Do you usually miss uncovered attacks (1.e4 uncovers a bishop). These are the sorts of things you have to understand so that you can start working on avoiding those mistakes. This is also why it's useful to play long time controls, because you'll have time to put some effort into avoiding and punishing blunders.

I should rephrase that, make friends with trustworthy chess players to help you out🤘

"Almost every day I play daily games" ++ Better play 15|10. Daily is inhomogeneous. Some play few games and analyse for hours. Some play 100 games simultaneously and look at each one for a few seconds.
"do puzzles" ++ 4 puzzles are a good warm-up, but penalty kicks are not soccer.
In a real game nobody tells you if there is a tactic or for which side.
"watch YouTube" ++ Not really useful. If you are not good at driving a car, swimming, or riding a bicycle, then you can watch YouTube about it, but it will not help.
"What should I do to get better" ++ The main thing is to play and to analyse your own lost games so as to learn from your mistakes. Also good is study of annotated grandmaster games.
"how long does it take?"
++ 1500 is a matter of mental discipline: always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it. Hang no pieces, hang no pawns and you are 1500 overnight.
2000 takes about a year if you do the right thing and refrain from the wrong things.
Consider buying a chess book. I highly recommend silimans' endgame book where he goes over different endgame motifs by rating level. There's also plenty of books for tactics and learning more about your favorite openings. If you don't want to spend any money then what you're doing is okay as well, I recommend the YouTuber "Chess Vibes" for your level.
