You're right. He's lost 73% of his blitz games by resignation which is almost double the average

So he's a filthy sandbagger...

... unfortunately mods and admins tend to be 1000 rated players, so they have no idea how to detect this... in other words reporting him wont do any good.

Mods don't handle fair play issues. Also, just the act of resigning a lot doesn't mean it's sandbagging. It would only be potential sandbagging of most of those resignations were in winning or completely even positions, and if there weren't corresponding rating drops, it's very likely not sandbagging.

As to the admins, some of the CDT team members are strong players.

It is annoying.  Maybe accuracy should be a factor for more appropriate matches.

Many player's accuracy values can be all over the place, depending on a number of factors. It isn't a useful metric for pairing considerations.

Usually people have higher tactics rating than blitz.

So I've been playing 5+5 blitz tonight.  Just lost 5 in a row.  All my opponents played 88%+ accuracy (in the 1000-1200 range).

wtf?

5 +5 is quite slow chess and in my experience, 90% accuracy around 1300 is normal. (based on my 3 games) Sometimes, all you need is slightly better accurate than your opponent and just one shot from opponent's blunder.

(Accuracy depends on tactical position of game. I can get as low as 60% if centre is very open and highly tactical)

Taken over 900 games it's significant, but sure, not necessarily proof by itself.

Certainly chess.com employs some strong players, but if they took the time to personally look at every little thing like this they'd never get anything done. I assume they only take the time for important cases like highly public games, titled players and streamers.

Indeed.

Just remember I'm the one justifiably looking down on you.

Use the pain of your worthlessness to take a step forward.

That's what made me who I am today.

Lol check mine out. 2250 puzzle rating and only 1150 in blitz. Idk why but i'm playing a lot of opponents getting 80%+ as well.

My puzzle and blitz ratings comparable to yours. I think it’s normal.
