Am I good for an 8 year old?

1315 is good for an 8-year-old. The US National Elementary regularly has 7-year-olds with ratings above 1800 (US) so 1315 is good but not outstanding. The real question is whether an 8-year-old will put in the time and years needed to reach GM strength.

But to be fair ,I started when I was seven. I was pretty good, and in fourth grade, because of Covid I didn’t get to go to a state tournament. So I stopped playing for a while until I found chess.com and started playing when I was 11
I was 1090 rated and I wasn’t feeling myself and went on a losing spree and went down to 962, then I just started playing again today after 3 weeks of not playing bc I was too ashamed by my rating :)

its good that you know how to play chess at this age

Your better than most 20 year olds so yes you can become GM.
