Sounds like that not at all rare species of loser known as a sorehead. The only time you should be worried about somebody calling you overrated is if they beat you 6-0 (and by the way, who ever has a chance to mate in a 1 min game?--most of them are time losses).

No you are probably not over rated, although I do not know what game you are playing! I love the deep strategy and and manuvering in Chess that is necessary when you try to achieve the object of the game... Checkmating your opponent's King! But alas... the game you play has none of that!
immortalgamer - your quick rating is in the same range as blitz and long, and online one is good, so I don't think you are overrated.
One of the best blitz players ever was not well known Genrikh Chepukaitis, he was rated ~2400 FIDE, but he beat Korchnoi, Spassky, Furman, Taimanov... everybody - in lightning chess. Not head and shoulders above them, but Korchnoi, for example, was Leningrad blitz champion 7 times, and Chepukaitis - 5 times...

One of his advices was to move the piece closest to you when you are in time trouble, not exactly the way to mate :).
