here is something that shines a little light on our topic. it has been brought to my attention that goldie has a youtube channel (with a whopping 8 subscribers no less)! while this channel says it covers many topics like chess, puzzles, poker, math, and racing games, the fact of the matter is that the totality of the site consists of 10 chess videos in which goldie himself doles out chess advice. now, there is really nothing at all wrong with this, plenty of people operate chess-based youtube channels. but i have to ask myself, why would a man who honestly questions whether he is over rated to the point of possibly be suffering from 'imposter's syndrome' and honestly have no clue why he is able to crush his opponents--even when down a piece--want to dole out advice about chess online? i suspect goldie is much more confident in his chess abilites than he is letting on. oh and my theory about english being his second language? indeed it is.

a 1600 can love to give advice to a 1000 rated player. does this prove the 1600 player being confident? no, they can still fear 1500 rated players thinking they are overrated

once again you are correct. but i am a 1000 rated player. why would i want to take advice from a 1600 rated player when there are dozens of better options for me?

My opponents make stupid mistakes especially under pressure and I win. Why they should make such mistakes when they are better than me in every aspect? I feel everything is fake.

You sound like a tough middle game opponent, someone who understands a lot of patterns and common tactics. It is the same with me - I can't handle complications but I just lean heavily on my positional senses to play fast and flag my opponents.
