Who said it’s necessarily based on math? If my opponents losses are fake then my rating is fake. I also don’t say math is or is not fake, it could go either way.

oh now i get it! its that vast right wing conspiracy that hillary clinton was always talking about. of all the millions of players on chess.com, for some reason all those with fake ratings seem to be playing against you at a much higher rate than the millions of others. and yes, just so you know, ratings are based on math. and no, just so you know, math is not fake. but really, i had a wonderful time learning what a great chess player you are.
