Ive already been having this thought in my head for quite some time already. But it just got worst when i lost to someone with an elo of 300. I know that there are things some people arent cut out for, and maybe this is one of it.

Never dumb, you either win or learn. Keep playing.

I don't know, have you done any studying of chess principles, or are you just playing games?

You're not alone in this feeling. Even some grandmasters think that they are very dumb and bad.

Depends on your experience and your goals...If you're fairly new to chess, you probably just need to gain some experience recognizing basic tactics (e.g. seeing a hanging pieces, and not hanging your own).  playing basic puzzles helps a lot with that.  Also, it helps to learn a few basic openings and concepts (e.g. controlling the center).

If you just want to have a good time, or exercise your brain, ELO doesn't matter....in fact, some of the most exciting games are often between players with low ratings.  The only time ELO matters is if you're trying to play in tournaments.

There is no such thing as dumbness, everyone has the same capabilities some may just learn faster but in the end everyone is the same
