Analysis board - how do I understand it?

As a very new player I have been using the analysis board for openings because at this point I just need to play as frequently as possible while I read beginners chess books in the background.
Below the board are suggested moves with % figures embedded. What do these mean? How do I read them?
I have been searching the site for information but have come up with zip so far.
