On my mobile app, no archives
I know we're not supposed to "advertise" other chess sites, but it's too useful for those that want to study: google PGN Mentor and go to the PGN section. They have most of the great players and tournaments as well as dozens upon dozens of PGN files arranged by opening variation. The Week In Chess has weekly databases uploaded...well...weekly.
