Indeed the app is wonderful just some bugs and minor tweaks.

can't submit move in daily games. did not have this problem before. I went into analysis mode before making my move. but after exiting analysis, can't make move
Cant submit moves too, oh my god, this new app is terrible, its a bad joke...

Shame on you, people of chess.com. The application could not appear without being minimally prepared to work. We had a very beautiful application, with some limitations, it is true, but now we have nothing, just does not work, we have to wait for returning home.
Anyone has the APK file of last version?
Hopefully we can change the background and chess set because I feel like I'm using chessmaster 5000 or some 90s chess software.
Functionality wise, I cannot submit moves in correspondence games, clicking the orange check mark does nothing
Seems am improvement but, atm if you hit the yellow submit arrow, it does not update!!!!!!
Absolutely awful "update". I can't even see my online games any more. Buggy, clunky, ugly. You broke something that needed no fixing. I loved the simple and quick interface of the previous version. I will not renew my premium membership since 90% of my games played are on android and are now unplayable.
It does not send moves, I can understand this being a frustrating update for live players, I can use chrome for my cc matches but the app is or was more convenient, it has some positive features, but if you press send and it does not, these good features become irrelavent!!
The new update is (for android devices) a real disaster! Unattractive and messy. And moreover: I can't make moves anymore !!
- I cannot find anywhere to sign out from live chess once I signed in, had to force stop the app.
- half of the first row of the board is cut off when playing live.
- the theme does not change from green, nor does the board change when I set it.
- using the menu is quite clunky, especially getting out of sub menus
Do admin read this??
Hopefully they do, if not I guess I'll just have to set my account on vacation and hope it gets fixed in a few weeks

Android device: I ca'nt make any moves anymore ...
Took me three attempts to log back in with my Facebook account.
Its pretty much unusable for me. I make a move in an online game, click the Submit button and nothing happens. Immediately after I click I see what appears to be a blue progres bar at the top of the screen. After the animation ends nothing happens. If I hit the X button it takes the move back.
If I make the move from my PC it is reflected on the app. While I like the integrated look, I dont understand how an app can be released with such basic functionality not working. Quite frankley, I am afraid to even use this app out of fear that a move I did not intend will be made. Someone in the other thread said he had several of his games resigned even though he did not resign.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 with 16G of Storge running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with a Kernal Version of 3.4
They won't revert the app (a good thing, since the new features are promising, and much sought-after). But I'm sure they will fix the (copious and serious) problems, and hope they will do so soon.
