Please add 'game of the day' and chess news to android app.
andriod app update pushed out yesterday

Is the app written in JAVA? With a lot of WebViews or something?!
Can you like handle clicks and stuff on a WebView? E. g.: you provide the HTML from your app instead of having the request go to a server?
Or do you use C(++)?
Can you, even, create android UIs using HTML, CSS and JavaScript?!
Thanks!

This app is written in native android way, using Java and xml for layouts. We are using REST API. No webviews(except for tournaments).
For crossplatoform development you can search for Xamarin, Titanium...

Hey, thanks so much for your answer!
I realized "native" UIs for Android are made with XML - that's cool!
Nothing beats a markup language for creating UIs! HTML is nice, but, it's really for text/content markup and HTTP isn't suitable for UIs. I've used .NETs WPF and XAML before - it is so nice for creating UIs, though, doesn't quite feel quite mature to me (yet). Making UIs from code, like you very much have to, in many languages/environments, is just plain a pain - and seems wrong.

Another bug found, but not sure if this is limited to the app:
In "Play Computer" in the app, the level 10 computer cannot castle, and when it tries to castle, it will take its own rook, and end up at the rook square. I have tested level 6, and it seems to castle properly.

Oh, weird... but thank you! We will check it!!

Which app version did you use? Thank you!

This castling problem only happens when the computer fianchettoes bishop....like in Kings Indian Defense.

This bug is fixed. We will include that in next update. Thank you for pointing this out!

Some bugs (or features) about Tactics Trainer:
- It happens that a problem which I have already tried (doesn't matter if it was either success or failure) comes back to me to and I'm able to solve it again. Sometimes it's the same day, sometimes - few days between. Maybe it's a feature, but I didn't note it earlier,
- when I switch to another app, someone calls or screen flips, the task is paused, a "start" button appears, and after tapping it I get a new problem to solve.

These are 2 features, it should works this way:)

2 bugs:
1) When i see a profile of my opponent, in the field of "registration day" is the same of "last connection".
2) when a game finish, in Online chess, the games not update (little chess boards) and the finished game still remain on the list.
Thank you for looking into the issue with the videos. They're playing just fine now. :)
