andriod app update pushed out yesterday

I've checked logic and if game is unrated we show this in open seeks list. If game is standard(not chess960), and rated, and color is random we only show username(rating) and #days per move.

Hi, ive downloaded last beta version of your App, my question is;

for live games, why in this version is not possible to choose the "elo range"of our opponents??

in blitz game im ~1100 player, and 2 times my opponents was over 1300, too strong for me.

whay you remove this option?

Hello! We haven't remove that option. Rating range is invisible only when you play against your friends. If you select vs Random it will be visible again. Could you please give us a link for a game where you matched against opponent with higher rating? So we could investigate it.

the reason we do this is to follow the golden rule - meaning, treating others how you want to be treated. If you only want to play UP (higher rated than you), then you should be willing to play against other people that also want to play UP. If everyone said "I'll only play people who are above me", then nobody would play at all!

That said, if you create a custom challenge, you can specify your rating bounds - but it must include your own rating bound. 

As for why you played someone 200 points above you, we use a match algorithm that first looks at +/-25 for several seconds, then 50, then 100, then 150, then 250... the point is that most people would rather play SOMEBODY than wait for a long long time for a game right near them.

ive a problem with my challenges for Blitz 5|10.

i use challenge button, my Blitz Elo at the moment is about 1180.

my option;

5|10 rated

ELO RANGE OF MY OPPONENT = -100 1180 +100

I NEVER found and played with a opponent.

Never find anybody in 2 days of trying.

for a game i must use play button, but sometimes the app give me stronger opponents.

why never found players??

 That is because you are using custom time limits, and it's a very rare case when someone else would use the same time limits(5|10).

still no option for direct pgn downloading and uploading and no game and puzzles posting in forums etc. I hate this app. :-/

a bug in create challenge.

sometimes, when i create a challenge and i press play to search opponent....after some seconds..the App not find an opponent but reappear the end of my last game with the screen of the end of the game (lost or win), and i must exit, return on main menu and create another challenge to try to find another an opponent.

Why are the "key positions" for the Android App (Computer - Key positions) and (Website: Computer Workout - Key positions) different in number and naming?

In principle this should be the same and solved problems should be marked in the same database as it is done with Chess Mentor.

We have found issue only for case when user plays black. Do you know other issues?

for me is a good idea to remove key squares in lessons.

this feature is full of bug and often ruins lessons.

 Go to options, and press Show Key squares - this will toggle it for you

I use the old classic version most of the time. Far too many bugs in new version. Why they can't get it right? Maybe it's just too difficult to fix existing issues. Scratch the interface and start brand new!
