Annotating Moves in Chess

Hi guys, was wondering if you could help me out with something. I am writing a manual for learning chess and forgot some of the shorthand annotations we use. So I am having trouble figuring out how you would designate the rook on their very first move since there are two of the. Like how would the queens rook be designated and how would the kings rook be designated in shorthand?

Rhf1 the starting point is added when a move is not unique. So instead of rf1 then rhf1
Hope that's what you are looking for

That's exactly what I am looking for my friend! I actually looked up up and noticed that to indicate the rook on either the queens or king side you just put "Ra" or "Rh" to indicate then followed by its choice of square.

It may also be Rgf1 or Rcf1 depending on the rooks position

It can also be designate the QR (Queen's Rook, a-file initially) and KR (h-file initially), though that can get confusing after they've done some moving.
