This is where blocking can help, because that stops the person from posting in any thread that you've created or from sending you messages. You can either warn people and hopefully they'll listen to you before blocking them, or you can block them straight away if you just don't want to deal with any more of their drama. You can always go back and unblock them later.

Click on their profile and then choose "More"

Then choose "Block"

If anyone sends you an inappropriate message, use "Report" instead - that will give you the option to block them as well as letting the site know about their behaviour.

It's not perfect: anyone can go and create a new account and then start over again. If that happens, you might need to change your settings to block all incoming messages except from Friends until it settles down again.

It's not because he hates indians or anything, it's because Indians have a reputation for being underrated. I haven't noticed this effect so it could just be an illusion, but it's plausible it's a real effect with an actual explanation for it.

For example, your initial rating is based on a questionnaire at the start. It may be that the chess.com Hindi translation makes Indians answer in such a way that they get underrated to begin with.
