Any tips for training/improvement

My school will be hosting chess tryouts and it's gonna happen in 4 days. I don't have much OTB experience as I usually play online on chesscom or on lichess. I'm currently sitting at a rating of 1000 rapid. Any tips on how to train/improve? I'm both excited and a little nervous lol. Thank you.

Lichess has a lot of free studies and puzzles fir tactics, focus on blundering less, and….well…..this advice is controversial, but i think that creating the opening repertoire may boost your overall confidence and allow you to calm yourself down by not getting destroyed in the first 10 moves and getting a position you are familiar with.
Omg, i finally resisted the urge to recommend the french defence

- Play over a few of your best games in a real board with real pieces. You need to adjust to 3D;
- if you need to keep a score sheet then play a rapid game here in chess.com and write down your moves;
- make sure that you have enough food and water with you at the playing day. And a spare pen.

Enjoy!

and no matter what happens, stay calm and think it through. people make poor decisions when they react emotionally instead of logically.
