Anyone else experiences this game in streaks?

Am curious as to whether this is a well known experience. I get times where I’m on top of my game and win left right and centre. Then for no explicable reason I start a losing streak even against players rated at the same level I was beating before.

Are there any existing theories/explanations for this?

Everybody has good days and bad days.
Whenever you lose a game, stop playing and analyse it thoroughly to learn from your mistakes.
