Great comment. The reason I had to use a wordpress page is that you are limited to 84 characters when posting in a forum, and I needed about 500 characters to describe what I am trying to accomplish. Problem is I have no clue how to setup a wordpress page.

You want to express yourself, but this doesn't have to be a group. It could just be you posting a youtube video to keep your audience interested.
You are better off posting on facebook or other social networking sites if it is text only.

I was confused because we are limited to 80 characters in the title box, not the topic box. Even though I spent a ridiculous amount of time learning about Wordpress, I believe everything happens for a reason. Did you check out concept of this club?
