The bird is fun to throw at a person, the first time you play them. Nobody is expecting it. Except after that one time. It’s pretty much useless.
If you play Dutch Defence as black, then yes, you can play Bird Opening as white, like Bent Larsen did and Magnus Carlsen does occasionally.
