You really get the exact same three structures- Carlsbad and iqp positions, unless they play the advance which is just french

we can study together but I can't make any promises on time cuz my life is hectic

I mean sure, if you have any opening questions you can just pm me

i could chat with u about some openings, what kind of style do you like? open positions, closed, aggressive, etc

I like positional/aggressive games ad openings that aren't too repetitive

I like to play repetitive openings, easier for a noob like me.  Can you point me to a list that classifies openings into groups like this?  Thx.

maybe I don't find it repetitive yet because I learned it like a month ago

my main problem is that I don't have any openning for white that I want to play

(queens gambit, kings gambit, Vienna system/gambit, scotch I fid these to boring) and I sorta just hope my opponents play a Sicilian

There isn’t really a shortcut- you just have to play them all and see what you like...

Guilty as charged with London.  Takes GC 10 minutes to describe it.  Don't know from colle.
