Even mentioning that it’s considered a sport by the Olympic Committee shows that it’s still up for debate. Saying “we all know it isn‘t a sport” is arrogant and rash.

Badminton, Kickball, and I have a friend that plays basketball so I play that from time to time.

Fair. I more took issue at the statement “we all know chess isn’t a sport” as if that’s obvious, and a fact, even though it is still heavily debated.
