now that was crazy!!!
Are chess players normal?
but girls always know how to have fun, even when they play chess, so they never go off the deep end, as demonstrated by batgirl's endless supply of entertaining blitz games.
Whats this? The cukoos nest! The OP is out of rehab now...Is everybody scratching there name next to his on the association table..I'm flying over this one..It's not normal!
Do you fancy yourself as a bit of a Marlon Brando Kenpo?...I wouldn't mind meeting Don Juan..but DeMarco can stay on this thread....
What I find interesting, is that a lot of people you wouldn't think play chess. I mean, it is a thinking game, something a lot of jocks might consider "nerdy", but people that have all kinds of interests enjoy chess.
My friend, Ernie, loves to work on cars, street race, drink and party. He plays chess often.
My other friend, Griffin, plays football, works out all the time, watches sports and sells insurance. He loves to play chess, and jumps at the chance to do so.
There are many more examples. Like Rock stars, polititions, lawyers, etc.
So, as the facts pile up, I think it is fair to assume that those who DON'T like chess are the ones that aren't normal.
SANITY GOES BACKWARD,INSANITY GOES FORWARD,UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS WE CHOSE TO BE NORMAL BUT UNDER PRESSURE WE TEND TO BE ABNORMAL..WE ARE ALL GOVERN BY EMOTIONS, THINKING PROCESS REACH UP EMOTIONS MORE EASILY THAN TO THE CENTRAL THINKING PROCESS
Speak for yourself. I don't make most of the decisions I do based upon how I feel. I am often suppressing how I feel because, my brain has calculated the consequences of my actions and I make my decisions based on what the best sequence of moves is for me, even if it doesn't make me feel better and even if it may make me feel worse.
When you grow up and take on resposibilities, you will find yourself going through a process where your brain overrides your bodies basic desires, feelings and emotions. It generally can stress you out after a while. Most people call this a normal part of life, but too much of this is abnormal according to "the professor of what normal is", but you still can't give your kids away or just stop working without terrible consequences that end up causing you to feel even worse than you did before.
