Hello, Rick, remember me? I used to be "braindeadbrainiac"; I'm the guy that beat you in 12 moves.
I told you then, 3 months ago, about Pawns being your first and best line of defense and that their moves should be considered carefully; I told you that you needed to consider a book or a coach. I tried to explain to you about the value of the pieces, what pieces needed to come out first and what pieces you needed to leave behind. You argued with me profusely about how the best way to learn is by doing; "figuring it out yourself". Well, here is one of your latest games:
There is no change in your game. None. The very same moves. The very same mistakes.
So, let me see if I understand this correctly. You rebuff the knowlege and experience of better players and argue with them that your way is right. So you continue to blunder your way from one loss after another (it looks like your wins are more timeouts than you actually beating somebody). Then, you get on this forum and ask if we are dumb?!
Well, I for one, am smart enough to learn from other players who beat me; to ask them questions and take their advice; to study books and learn openings and how to counter them. My sickly rating shows that I have a long way to go, but I have the humility and the intelligence to learn.
I hope you don't go through life the way you go through a chess board. I hope that off the chess board, you are wise enough to ask questions and heed the advice of others.
Somehow, I doubt that you are. And because your youthful arrogance proclaims everyone except yourself dumb, and proclaims that you have the right way of doing things (while your horrible strings of losses prove otherwise), then I don't feel that you have the right to call anyone ... anyone ... dumb.
I’m not too sure about them being “dum”, but there are more than a few who can’t spell properly
