Are there any benefits of being in legend league?

Thank you, but what do you mean with "The Leagues contest ended in 2022."? The League "tournament" (or maybe should it be called differently?) runs every week, and each time the winners upgrade League. Ends with Legend. We're only talking about this. (I don't know what are the "contests" from 2022 you're talking about, sorry)

They rolled out the Leagues in 2021. There was a contest to see who would make is first to Champion League. There was a $10,000 prize and free diamond memberships for the next 200. That ended in the spring of 2022.

Yes there is a benefit of being in Legend League as you play better players on average and is quite difficult!

Once a member reaches Legend, they get placed in the Legend club and there will eventually be events and prizes there, but last I knew nothing has been scheduled or announced yet.

And people had stumbled upon a method of spamming all the other members.

No. Being in the Legend League doesn't affect who you play or your ratings in any way.
