A little more than 1100 to be 13 years and less than one month yea i think im good for my age.
Are you good for your age?

Well personally I believe that, for my age (18), just knowing the basics of chess makes me good for my age, now if I were, say, 24, then it would be a big fat no.

age or rating has nothing to do with anything. im 13 my rating is 1319 and i beat my expert level coach 4 out of 10 times
Maybe your coach is not expert rated?
not everyone's USCF, I guess im good if you put it that way. Yet, I have loads to improve, for sure.

Abhi youre so modest you're ranked in the top 30 for your age in the US.
you know you're good when you're a scholastic player (under 18) and trophies mean nothing to you, only hard ca$$$hhhh.
I LOVE CASH! I have won money and trophys.
don't forget to have fun ;)

I know a kid who passed 2000 around his 8th birthday and is currently a 2156-rated 9-year-old.
And another kid from about the same area who's a bit younger at 2087 (still 9)
Top u8 US players currently are in the 1700s - current generation is weaker than a couple of years ago.
One kid to watch out for is Aydin Turgut. One scary 8-year-old with quite a strong dad. (2618 CCGM and FM)

I'm good for any age, but, you know, only as in "Hey, that guy next door is really good at chess", not as in actually ever winning anything that counts.

Am not bad for my age but have no one else my age to play against
Well, you are 109.

Sorry but the question has no relevance. Age has nothing to do with skill ability or desire.
In other worlds you've never won (or competed in?) a world youth U12, U16, U18 etc event
Who resurrected this thread.
You.
