Artificial Intelligence, Bots, etc

I came on this site to play other human beings of a similar skill level, but I know that I'm often playing either a bot or another player who is being assisted somehow. I often have a day or two where I can't seem to win, even against players ranked below me, and my rating tumbles, but I also have days where I can't lose, even against players ranked higher than me, and my rating climbs. Obviously, it's being fixed and I don't like it. I'd rather play an honest game and lose. Does anyone agree, and do you know of any chess sites where you actually play real people without interference.

The perception of cheating levels is orders of magnitude more than the actual amount.
