Could you give me the patterns and methods behind your calculations? It would help me immensely with my play. Perhaps, someday, I may even become a worthy opponent... In the meantime, I want to try some games against stronger players than I. I hope my question is answered!

I'm not sure if you're joking or not, but Magnus already answered this exact question before. He said he'd play 1.Nf3 and go for a slow positional game, to feel out how well his alien opponents understand chess.
