Here is my question. Picture the chess board set up with all of the starting pieces on their starting squares. Now, remove all of the minor pieces from both sides of the board that do not have 4 legs. By this of course I mean the amount of legs their counterparts would have in real life. By minor pieces I do not mean pawns. Now, proceed to take off each pawn from both sides of the board that stand on a dark square. Once this is done take off every piece (whatever that piece may be) residing on the F-file (this includes white and black pieces).
How many pieces remain on the board? Please solve this in your head.
(This question can be for anyone I guess.)

All minor peices that don't have 4 legs:
4 bishops.
All pawns on a dark square: 8 (16 pawns / 2 )
Any peices on the F File. The bishops have already been removed, and f2 is a dark square, so that I think it's just light squared pawn on f7, that hasn't already been removed.
So 13 peices removed
32-13 = 19 peices left?
Just need to know how to set-up a chess board and that the square a1 is black.
I'm going out on limb here and saying that the knight is the only piece with 4 legs, and thats even a stretch, because technically the rider would have 2 to make a total of 6. All the humans have 2. That would just leave 7 pawns and 4 knights, so 11.
What is the best uncommon white response to the Sicilian Defense?
Really. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Correct!! I came up with that question at random of course but when I began to think about it it was actually a bit tougher than I thought and I figured I'd at least stump a few people before someone got the right answer. Oh well nice job.
Getting back to chess; What are some general plans and some specific lines for white against the main lines of the Sicilian?

Ahh yes I thought someone might mention the 4 legs actually being 6 and technically you are right but since I'm a noob I guess I always just picture the knights as simply horsies with 4 legs. lol That said I think your number is still a bit low. What about the kings queens and rooks? Those are pieces too are they not?
Mysterix... here's an article about your question...

I need to practice and memorize that. It would really be a stunner in a tournament.
much_afraid : you are wrong.
a knight does not have 4 legs
a horse does
but a knight is the guy riding the horse
i knew that riddle, and it was meant to fool people who think the knight is a horse, lol looks like you found the riddle but not even looked at the answer before posting it ;)

Allow me to answer this question:

I made this video some time ago explaining how to mate with king+knight+bishop against king.
ask me something about chess, i might be able to help you, and you can tell me to make an opening, depending on who it's best for and how many moves, and you name it. also i can help you with a problem you have (maybe...) and other things.
i might not know but you can ask someone else, maybe a help user, or a staff user.
