In your personal opinion, if someone wants to become a titled chess player, do they have to sacrifice other stuff for chess, or is it possible for them to enjoy a lot of stuff at the same time while trying to improve at chess and one day become an IM like you?

Two things I wanna say: 1. When I said "sacrifice", I meant sacrificing other stuff to do, like playing games, because I thought that many GM's or people that want to become GM's have to sacrifice other hobbies or things to do. Let me know if you understood what I meant now. 2. Wow, nice, it's good to see you detail that you didn't have to sacrifice other stuff to get good at chess, like you said, you could still do stuff like playing video games (you said you were quite proficient at Valorant).
