Can u arrange a game with 365 days per move ?....total open book play ?....w/ the winner getting to push the loser outta a plane wearing only a squirrel suit over Caribbean waters ?

Thank you in advance.

It means your decision to drop out of school to study chess was a poor one.

God will promote me to the piece he needs me to be.

Serious question -- not trying to be a jerk:

Don't you think that 'God' would be more accurately referred to as 'It', rather than 'He'?

Wouldn't a 'God' transcend sex and gender?  I mean, if 'God' is a male, wouldn't that mean that females are inherently less 'Godly', and thus somehow inferior to males?

Oh, wait -- you said to ask "only certain chess things."  Nevermind then.  My bad.

I dont want this locked, so please keep the religious discussion out of this.  But please feel free to PM me with any questions about my faith.

Fair enough.

My question, then -- to keep with the whole sex/gender issue i brought up, but in reference to chess -- is this:

How do you feel about FIDE titles that distinguish between men and women?  You know -- GM and WGM...IM and WIM...FM and WFM...etc.

I'm not a female, but i feel that the 'W' qualifications added to those titles is a little, well, not cool.

Mind you, i can understand why we have things like the WNBA to go along with the NBA, as there is a clear difference between the sexes (generally speaking, of course) when it comes to physical traits and capabilities.

But with chess, and any other exercise of the mind, i don't see the necessity for any separation between the sexes -- we are all equal, mentally.

(I'm only asking you about this because you're openly offering to give your opinion on chess stuff, and it's the only thing i can think of right now, and i've often found your opinions to be worthy of reading -- not because i think you're a sexist, or anything.)

What was your most memorial game?

That will require some thought to narrow down to one game.  Let me think on it, and ill get back to you.

I think titles should be the same for both.  If you earned it, you deserve it.  Im not a "Lower the bar" type of guy.

Thank You for the compliment.  It renews my faith in this site, and helps keep me on the straight and narrow.

If you count the big one it should be an odd number
president_max

Now youre on the right path!

I always give this "quiz" to my chess students.  I always get the usual answer of 64.  The idea is to get them to see deeper, and look past the obvious.
