What made you pick your chess.com avatar? I chose kenpachi a Bleach character becase he's my absolute fav character in Bleach.

The coy, camp shock of my Lewis chess piece makes me chuckle every time I see it.

My avatar is a photo of Alekhine.  When I saw it, I was taken by the fact that it looks exactly like me about 15 years ago.  Everyone who knows me personally and sees it agrees.  When my wife first saw it, she thought it was me.  Too bad my play doesn't look as much like him as my face!  (but I do have similar drinking habits)
