My avatar is 'Marvin the Martian'.  He was the cartoon charactor that was always trying to blow up the earth.  Bugs Bunny was always frustrating him.  I do not identify with him but am amused by the concept.

     I decided to use a photograph that my wife took of me. I figure people might as well have a face to attach to the name, so to speak. I have been thinking of changing it to something else ( another photograph of myself to feed my enormous ego LOL).

Hi, all. I'm new here and liking chess.com very much! I picked Bobby Fischer looking befuddled because that's how I think I look all the time playing chess!
