Hey all, we had an error in our "video schedule" and we accidentally published the 2nd video in Roman's new series on the Nimzo Indian first, and skipped the 1st video. So here it is for those who are interested:

Thanks

Thanks. The Nimzo Indian is an excellent defense.

I'm not trying to be confrontational but this is my opinion: as valuable as it is to get someone of Roman Dzindichashvili's caliber teaching openings, I don't think videos are the best way to learn openings. All the variations go by too quickly with too little explanation to bring understanding, and understanding is the best way to remember and succeed. I think videos are a good method for learning positional chess but not tactics/patterns/openings because they are so specific. Positional chess is like a book on tape whereas openings are like math on a tape :).

You may be right young, but people should just use videos on openings as a guide and "starting point" by getting recommendations from GMs... obviously not everything can be covered in an opening video...

That's ok by me. Try not to let it happen again. Ty
