not a new topic but can someone explain why chess.com keeps pairing me with people with at least 100 ELO more than mine?? I'm sick of this because I just keep losing.

You can select the rating range you want to play.

If you click Play > More > Custom there should be a setting there that lets you choose which rating you get paired with.

As stated above. Before you start a game check the custom settings and make sure to set the rating range to whatever you prefer.
