Boycotting the Russians doesn’t solve or even reducing the effect of the war,instead it gets a lot worse
Just do political discussions on some website such as facebook or instagram
Some Russians dared to protest the war and even risked themselves spending chunky year of jail
While you recklessly ignore the rules and posted this rule-breaking forum

This is not a political discussion, it is sport/recreational one following a decision by both FIDE and the IOC.
I chose whom to play and I am stopping to play anyone wearing the Russian flag. I implore others to do the same, especially ones from Europe.
This is already a decision taken by EU governments. not to compete with Russians in sporting events or occassions and I abide by it!
Russian chess players have enriched this and many chess sites , i also say the same for Ukrainian players , they have some amazing players who have added also to the world of chess
Why should chess and its players suffer because of the present situation ?

How is exactly changing their flag to neutral on Chess.com considered suffering, compared to actually not being able to play at all (Ukrainians) because they are getting bombed?

Chess is political. Russian Chess more than others. The FIDE President is a close friend of Putin. And who pays most of the professional russian chess players? Is it not the same source which kills children in the Ukraine at this moment? Children in Syria not to forget.
