Ban Vladimir Kramnik for life
Kramnik has already closed his Chess.com account, but I'd fully support him being banned everywhere else. The damage he's done to the world of chess (as well as his reputation and legacy, for that matter) is both incalculable and unforgivable.
Edit: this might be controversial, but I'd like to add that if he genuinely apologizes and does a real bang-up job at fixing what he did, I'd probably advocate for him not being completely ruined. It's still not too late for him to admit he was wrong.
Needs to be put in jail. Man is a sick, evil chess troll that's so petty now because he's no longer relevant. Feels he needs to bully anyone he can sink his teeth into. RIP Daniel, I pray that something is done to Kramnik that truly nukes him from the face of the chess world. You deserve some justice.
I most definitely didn't like how Kramnik treated Daniel. I was fortunate to watch 2 of Daniel's streams about 2 months ago & he was really insightful & a pleasure to listen to. Daniel happens to be my favorite name in all of the English language, meaning God is my judge. We'll see you at the crossroads, Daniel, so you won't be lonely.
Agree with everything else but this, which while generally true, can be said of everyone and everything that Danya interacted with.
As it is, almost everyone loves Danya and there seems to be very little love lost for kramnik.
Still, choosing this moment to push for a ban also seems more emotional than logical.

Logically, banning Kramnik and stripping his titles would solve the problem of Kramnik using them to throw his weight around and attack people. Those titles are what matters the most in Kramnik's eyes. They are his entire personality and reason for being. I think stripping those from him is completely necessary to knock him off his pedestal and take any meaning away from his baseless cheating accusations.
Kramnik is not the root cause of this sad situation. He is a symptom. From everything I have read, heard and watched. Daniel Naroditsky was dealing with mental health issues. Where were Daniel's family and friends? Why wasn't he getting the help he needed? Why didnt anyone speak up on his behalf? Kramnik and everyone else negatively involved in this were the people standing around yelling "Jump!". Did they contribute to the problem? Yes. Did they cause the problem? No.
What do you know about what his friends and family did?

I don't know if FIDE would ever ban him. I'll settle for him being a pariah of the chess community going forward. I think he should reap exactly what he sowed.
Yes he should be banned, bullying and ruining a person's reputation based on baseless accusations is disgusting and no one should have to go through that.
Cyberbullying (or bullying in general), although reprehensible and terrible, is often difficult to prove whether any actual crimes have been committed. I'm not saying impossible to prove - just very challenging. It may be true that Kramnik is a scumbag and his behavior is horrible but it is doubtful that he is responsible from a criminal standpoint. From an ethical, moral standpoint, he absolutely deserves whatever is coming his way.
But I have a bad feeling about Fide.I have a feeling that Fide won't ban him
Same. We need a new governing chess body asap

Context wise actually at least half responsible he should definitely get banned anyways online harassment campaigns to people who don't deserve it cause these type of situations all the time also acting basically like (online) maga esc so it's worse then harassment (propaganda wise ) I don't wanna bring up politics but there is a distinction it could be a random death but it's likely not the case

Didn't most of his friends support him ? Maybe Magnus could've done more but even he said he was concerned privately gmhikaru and gothamchess stopped posting about kramnik cause they didn't want to feed the troll since it only makes it worse the only thing gothamchess did that was questionable was the kramik interview also kramnik arguing to a stats major (gothamchess) about stats was silly
